Namibia's minerals,
read from the
ground up.
NMR is a Namibia-focused mineral exploration company. We map, sample and drill the country’s mineral endowment — the groundwork that has to come before any mine.
⸺ 01 / About Us
BUILDING THE FUTURE OF
RESPONSIBLE MINING
in Namibia
Namibia Mineral Resources is an emerging mining company focused on the exploration, development and responsible extraction of mineral resources in Namibia.
Our initial focus is on the 3T minerals — Tin, Tantalum and Tungsten, which are important industrial and critical minerals used across electronics, advanced manufacturing, energy and technology supply chains.
We aim to build a long-term mining business that combines responsible resource development, modern exploration practices and strong local partnerships.
Our approach is centered on identifying high-potential mineral opportunities and developing them into commercially viable projects while creating lasting value for our stakeholders and the communities in which we operate.
OUR APPROACH
To explore responsibly.
To develop sustainably.
To create lasting value.
⸺ 02 / Why Namibia
A Strong Foundation for
Responsible Mineral
Development.
01
POLITICAL STABILITY
A peaceful, democratic republic with strong rule of law and transparent mining legislation.
02
PRO-MINING JURISDICTION
Clear licensing frameworks, secure tenure, and a respected Ministry of mines and Energy.
03
INFRASTRUCTURE
Paved roads, grid power, deep-water port at Walvis Bay, and rail links to major markets.
04
SKILLED WORKFORCE
Established mining culture with local geological and technical expertise.
05
CONFLICT-FREE STATUS
Unlike other 3T-producing regions, Namibia is free from conflict mineral association – a critical advantage for OECD and Dodd-Frank compliant supply chains.
⸺ 03 / OUR FOCUS
THE 3T minerals.
Our initial focus is on Tin, Tantalum and Tungsten — important minerals supporting modern technology, advanced manufacturing and industrial applications.
TIN
A versatile industrial metal essential to solder, electronics, chemicals and a wide range of modern manufacturing applications.
TANTALUM
A high-value critical mineral used particularly in advanced electronics, capacitors and specialised industrial applications.
TUNGSTEN
A strategically important metal valued for its exceptional hardness, high melting point and applications in industrial tooling, manufacturing and advanced technologies.
⸺ 04 / OUR APPROACH
Five stages before a single
mine.
Exploration is a discipline of patience. Each stage has to earn the next — capital and drill bits follow evidence, not the other way around.
01
Desktop & historical review
We start with what’s already known — historical data, satellite and airborne geophysics, and regional geology — to target ground that’s actually worth walking.
02
Field reconnaissance & mapping
Geologists walk the target ground, logging outcrops and structure to build the first real picture beneath the sand.
03
Sampling & geochemistry
Soil, rock and stream samples go to the lab. Geochemistry tells us where to look closer — and, just as often, where to walk away.
04
Drilling & core logging
Where the geochemistry holds up, we drill. Every metre of core is logged, photographed and sampled for assay.
05
Resource definition
Enough consistent drilling lets us estimate what’s actually there — the step that turns a prospect into a project.
